“LOST MYSELF ON INTERNET” - AWARDED MOBILITY OF LEARNERS AND STAFF

Lost Myself on Internet - TC is an awarded Erasmus+ project by the Greek National Agency of the Programme and it has been included inside the "Good Practices - Successful Stories" Catalogue of 2016 - 2018. The topic was the modern phenomenon of Internet Addiction Disorder (I.A.D.) and how it affects the lives of the youngsters in modern societies. The Training Course has invited to participate, NGOs from Portugal, Belgium, the Netherlands, Czech Republic, North Macedonia, Turkey, Slovakia, Spain, and Bulgaria. The number of the youngsters who participated was 52 participants, together with the Greek group. The principal aim of the project was to raise awareness about Internet Addiction Disorder. The participants attended seminars about the topic, and they have practiced how to trace and acknowledge the persons who suffer by I.A.D. Additionally, they have learned how to approach using special techniques, youngsters with I.A.D.

Inside the frame of the project, EO Sharp Minds managed to organize an extended dissemination event, with particularly important guests like, the General Director of the Directorate of Cyber-Crime of the Hellenic Police, Brigadier Georgios Papaprodromou, the Head Psychologist and Head Officer of the Training Department of the NGO "The Smile of the Child", Mr Stefanos Alevizos and other guests. The dissemination event took place at the 2nd High School of Agioi Anargyroi in Athens where almost 300 people, students and parents, came to take part to this educational event about Bullying and its forms. The Greek National TV (ERT) covered the event.
